I've been playing with gemstones and have added these to my website tonight. The earrings are all hung on sterling silver earwires are are just £4.50 each. The bracelets measure approx 7.5 inches and are £7.50 each.
Ruby is also the birthstone for July so would make a lovely gift.
It's coming to that time of year again and we'll start to think about buying small gifts for our children's teachers as a thankyou. I have picked a range from some Folksy sellers as well as my own additions which are all under £5. It's nice to give the gesture, but we don't want to spend too much.
I originally made this bracelet for myself as part of this weeks challenge over on MSE which I set myself to create something for someone and explain why you made it. I made this for me as it contained two of my favourite beads that I have had in my stash for a while and I wanted to incorporate them into something for me.
Once I made it and put it on, I wasn't so sure about it so I think it's going to end up in my shop.
Over on Money Saving Expert there is a small group of people who love making jewellery. This week we have all been challenged to make a memory wire bracelet with the theme "love".
I interpreted this by going through my bead box and choosing the colour I love the most (ameythyst) and the beads I love the most within my box of ameythyst beads. This is what I have come up with.
Now I just have to decide whether I'm going to list it in my shop or not.
